Dr. John I-Cassis

Dr. John Ictech Cassis is the director of the 635 Albany Street Dental Health Center. He earned a Certificate in Advanced Graduate Studies in Prosthodontics in 1986 and his DMD degree in 1988 from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Cassis currently operates two private practices in Massachusetts, one in Quincy and one in North Andover.

In addition, at Boston University Henry Goldman School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Cassis serves as a Clinical Professor of the Department of Restorative Sciences and Biomaterials, and the Clinical Director of the postgraduate Operative and Esthetics and postgraduate Digital Dentistry programs.

Dr. Cassis has been a clinical educator since 1987 and possesses strong academic leadership skills and teaching experience. He led the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program at Boston University for 25 years as Program Director.

Dr. Cassis has numerous professional interests. He is a member of several committees at the GDSM as well as other professional societies. He is also an experienced presenter, lecturing both nationally and internationally on restorative dentistry and esthetics.

Dr. Cassis has received numerous awards from several dental societies and academic dental institutions. In 2006 Dr. Cassis received the Spencer N. Frankl Award for Excellence in Teaching for his outstanding commitment to the mission of the school.
